How to Collect RSVPs Online for Free
How to collect RSVPs online for free: what to put on your RSVP page, setting a reply-by date, asking the right questions, sharing the link and tracking replies.
An online RSVP page gives guests one place to find event details and reply, and gives you one list instead of scattered texts.
1. Put the essentials first
Include who is hosting, the date, start time and venue address. A map link and a parking note save a lot of questions.
2. Set a reply-by date
Pick a date early enough to give final numbers to your venue or caterer. For weddings, many couples set it about 3 to 4 weeks before the event.
3. Ask only what you need
Number attending and a name are usually enough. Add questions only when you will use the answers, such as a meal choice or allergies. Do not ask guests for payment or sensitive personal information.
4. Limit party size
If invitations are for specific people, set the most guests allowed per reply.
5. Share one link everywhere
Send the same link by text, email, social media or a church bulletin, and add it to printed invitations.
6. Follow up before the deadline
Check replies a few days before your reply-by date and send a friendly reminder to anyone you have not heard from.
Kindly RSVP does all of this for free. See free RSVP pages, or read the guides for wedding RSVPs, birthday parties, baby showers and church and community events.
